Hyperwords for Firefox FAQ
I don't like the way the Hyperwords menu 'pops-up' every time I select some text! How can I change it?
You can change this in the Settings.
Why do you I have a Hyperwords Toolbar? What happened to my regular Firefox Google search box?
The Hyperwords Toolbar can be used as a regular toolbar: Enter text and hit 'enter' twice to get Google results.
If you prefer to have only the regular toolbar/search box go to the Settings and click on 'Toolbar' to change this.
Can I use an Amazon or Wikipedia for where I live?
Yes! Go to the Settings and click on the 'Localization' tab to change all kinds of localization settings.
I don't like Hyperwords. Can I have my money back?
No. Hyperwords is free so you can't have any money back since you didn't pay anything. However, Hyperwords developments very user-driven so please contact us with your gripes and we'll fix bugs and (quite often) implement suggestions.
You can change a lot of how Hyperwords works though in the famous Settings.
I have a suggestion for a new search command!
We'll that's great. But did you know you can add it yourself? Please have a look at the explanation video.
If it's not a search command, please do send us an email. We read and reply to all emails.
I love Hyperwords but don't use Firefox. Help!
Hyperwords will be available for Windows 2010 as well as for other platforms and systems.
We are also working on a Safari version.
This FAQ is too short. I have a question. Can I email you?
Yes, please contact us.
When I paste, the text is pasted twice. Help!
Sorry about this. We are aware of this bug but so far we have not been able to reproduce it, and therefore we cannot fix it. One thing we have come across as a possible culprit is an issue with the AVG Antivirus Firefox extension. If you can test this and contact us, that would be great.
